A fantastic riff from the 70s by Dutch group Focus. Guitarist Jan Akkerman is a God.

Beautiful, crying solo by Eric Clapton on the Beatles' While My Guitar Gently Weeps. I focus on a few of the most interesting twists and turns.

Rip-your-head-off riff written by P.F. Sloan, made famous by Johnny Rivers. The TV show of the same name is long forgotten but this great song lives on.

Classic Beatles riff from George Harrison. Simple, but not. A great way to get comfy with open strings, pull-offs and hammer-ons.

I was fortunate to be turned on to ZZ Top when they only had two albums. Billy Gibbons is the coolest. He takes simplicity to its memorable limit.
