Me & Dixon is North Carolina's very own Super Group. It features three of the Tarheel State's most respected and exciting performers. Don Dixon's resume as bassist, singer and producer stretches back to the 60s and includes his work with R.E.M., Marshall Crenshaw, Smithereens and literally hundreds of other bands. Dixon's solo albums include the hits "Praying Mantis", "Most of the Girls Like To Dance", "Your Sister Told Me" and more. Parthenon Huxley's "Buddha, Buddha" was named one of the 10 Best Songs Recorded In North Carolina. Huxley (now living in MD) went on to record for Columbia and Universal, landing a #1 song on Rolling Stone's Download Chart with "I Loved Everything." He joined ELO Part II as guitarist and singer in 1998. Rob Ladd's drumming helped make the Pressure Boys one of North Carolina's most entertaining bands of the 80s. Ladd later drummed for Don Henley, Roger Daltrey and many other world class acts.

Originally formed in 1986 and resurrected to much acclaim in 2015, Me & Dixon is a classic power trio, wherein three masters of their craft create a full satisfying sound from just guitar, bass and drums. The set will include rarely performed songs from both Dixon's and Huxley's catalogs. This is a not-to-miss show!
